Founded in 2006, TOMS is in business to improve lives. TOMS identifies global needs and creates products to help address them. This simple idea is what makes it more than a company – it is a movement that’s continually evolving.

For every TOMS product purchased, help is provided to someone in need. One for One®. TOMS Giving efforts take place in over 70 countries around the world, helping to provide shoes, sight, water, safe births, and anti-bully efforts around the world.

TOMS community of supporters has helped to fuel this movement, sharing the story and getting involved through community programs. Coined the “TOMS Tribe”, TOMS aims to support these individuals and groups with the resources needed to create positive change in their communities and the world.

5 Ways to Get Involved with TOMS

  1. Participate in Annual Awareness Days!

Help TOMS by raising awareness in your community. World Sight Day is coming up on October 8th, 2015. Join in the spring for One Day Without Shoes and World Water Day. Email Community@TOMS.com to get involved.

  1. Host a Style Your TOMS

Use art to make a difference! Groups get together and use art supplies to customize their new TOMS Shoes or drawstring bags. Products purchased through this event give back to those in need through TOMS Giving. Download the Style Your TOMS guide.

  1. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAStart or Join a TOMS Campus Club

TOMS Campus Clubs are groups of students at schools around the country inspired by the TOMS story. They are passionate about giving back, helping others, and taking that movement even further in their communities. Applications for Club Leaders and Advisors are open until 9/11/15. Apply now.

  1. Start Something That Matters

Programs inspired by the book Start Something That Matters by TOMS founder, Blake Mycoskie. From group reads, documentary viewings, or discussion, individuals and groups can gather and start the conversation – “How can I make a difference?”

  1. Inspire Others

Find more information on involvement opportunities and sign up for TOMS Campus and Community newsletters on TOMS.com/Tribe. Read the latest updates on TOMS Giving and inspiring stories from their community at TOMS.com/Stories.
