NYWC Nashville Live Blogger, Andy Thompson shares these insights on our host town.

I’m a home-boy here in Nashvegas and wanted to give a few tips on some good food, downtown, for all the NYWC peeps. If you go out of the HQ, you can walk to most of these places — and you get to see some of what makes Nashville famous (besides the music). You’ll see what I mean when you walk the sidewalks… Okay, on to the food: The Old Spaghetti Factory – it’s old, they serve really good Italian cuisine, and it’s affordable. San Antonio Taco Co. – Best Tex-Mex food in town. Hands down. It’s on 21st so you’ll be riding/driving to that one. But it’s another affordable eat. Jack’s BBQ – on Broadway right around the corner on 4th Ave. (very close and VERY good BBQ) B.B. King’s Bar & Grill is on 2nd Ave before you get to Broadway. (You MUST get the fried pickles.) Of course, there’s a Panera near 5th Ave … a staple for most of you. Hope this helps! We got good eats here in Nash-vegas.
