Whiteboard Session | Thinking Phases

Have you ever felt like it’s difficult talk to middle schoolers (MS) and high schoolers (HS) at the same time?

I hope you have! Because it is difficult. It’s a scientific fact that MS and HS think differently.

But, it’s not impossible.

I can guarantee you this. You won’t do it well accidentally.

It takes work, knowledge, and strategy.

I can’t help you with the work. That’s on you. But, I can help with the knowledge and the strategy.

The best resource I’ve encountered is a book entitled It’s Just a Phase, So Don’t Miss It by Reggie Joiner and Kristen Ivy. It helps you understand all the developmental phases.

There are opportunities and pitfalls with every phase so this resources is amazing for all Next Gen leaders. In fact, it is a great resource to help you and the rest of the family ministry leaders get on the same page.

I’ve given an overview for students + phases in the Whiteboard Session…

Oh, and we’re giving away some copies so don’t turn off the video too early!
